Facebook is using its army of lawyers to create a Trojan Horse into GDPR law so that they can just demand anybody's private information from any company using the loop hole of "legitimate interest".
It starts with the domain name registrars but doesn't stop there.

I wanted to get my hands on a hardcover of Kernighan and Ritchie, because I never got to read it. And to my surprise, I discovered that they actually write Modern and Contemporary #Fiction, or at least, that's how the most popular website from my neck of the woods is selling it.
Good, this means that it will count as quality #leisure time during the #holidays.
Why did Deno go with writing a Rust wrapper around V8 instead of using SpiderMonkey from Mozilla? Some decoupling from Servo would have helped everybody.

You'd think as a UNIX sysadmin in my 40s, nothing would ever surprise me anymore.
Amazingly not.
With the whole TRUTH Social debacle, and seeing that none of the news papers actually talked about Mastodon. I went onto the booksite and tried to nudge people a bit.
I've sent some great @FediFollows statuses; but I couldn't find any instances with appealing `/about/more` pages. All of them contained only rules, copyright information and codes of conduct, nothing interesting.
Kudos to @Curator for including a decent description, tough, it's buried after the rules.
